Cash Fares
All Fares are for one-way trips. Discount monthly passes are available. Fares are subject to change. Please call (510) 724-7993 for the latest information. Exact fare is required, drivers do not carry change.

All Transfers are FREE From County Connection and Tri-Delta Transit at shared stops in Martinez with a valid transfer.
Transfers from Capital Corridor trains to WestCAT are FREE anywhere within WestCAT’s service area with validated transfer (exception Lynx, and Dial-A-Ride). Passenger must relinquish transfer to driver upon boarding.
The East Bay Value Pass
The $60 East Bay Value Pass allows you to ride all all WestCAT, The County Connection, Tri Delta Transit and Wheels fixed route buses for an entire month! See “East Bay Value Pass” brochure for more information or visit www.eastbayvaluepass.com.
Lynx 10-Ride Passes
Lynx 10-Ride Passes allow ten one-way rides in any direction on WestCAT Lynx buses. Passes do not expire until value is spent.

Clipper (previously Translink)
Please note that Clipper cards are currently not accepted for fare payment on any of WestCAT's services. Clipper card holders are still required to have a transfer when boarding a WestCAT bus. Otherwise, the full WestCAT fare is due upon boarding.

Allows pass holder unlimited travel in any direction on Local Fixed Route, Martinez Link 30Z, and Express buses only. Passes are valid only if stamped with correct date and are good for use through the last bus on the service day in which first used. May be pre-purchased thru WestCAT or purchased from the driver on the day of travel. Drivers do not carry change so please have exact fare. Passes will be time stamped.
Dial-A-Ride & Paratransit Tickets
Discount Tickets provide 10 one-way rides per sheet. There is no expiration date. Tickets are not sold in any other denomination and cannot be purchased from the driver.

Local Fixed Route/Express Bus Stored Value Passes (Passes are non-transferable)
Stored Value Pass allows one-way rides in any direction on all WestCAT Local Fixed Route and Express buses. Passes do not expire until value is spent.

Local Fixed Route and Express Stored Value Passes with a remaining value equal to less than the full cash fare will still be allowed there last ride at no additional charge (Lynx excluded).
31-Day Passes (Passes are non-transferable)
Allows unlimited travel in any direction on Local Fixed Route, Express, and Lynx buses. Passes are good for 31 consecutive days beginning on the first day of use. Passes will be time stamped.

BART Plus Regional Tickets
Sold only at BART ticket and pass outlets and online
Valid on WestCAT local fixed route, Martinez Link 30Z and express routes only at no additional charge. Valid for 2-weeks and includes both BART rail and bus fare. Call (510) 236-BART for information. The “5-day grace period” for BART Plus ticket holders applies only to BART rail, and not bus. (BART Plus is not accepted on the LYNX).

WestCAT Passes and Discount Dial-A-Ride and ADA Paratransit Tickets
For current prices, see the charts above. These may be purchased via US mail by enclosing a check, money order, or transportation benefit checks (e.g. TranBen, Wage Works, or Commuter Check) made payable to: WestCAT, or in person Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm in the lobby of our administrative office located at 601 Walter Ave, Pinole. The WestCAT administrative office is located between Pinole Shores Drive and the Del Monte Shopping center off of San Pablo Avenue. When purchasing passes/tickets with a check at the WestCAT sales office you will be asked to provide a valid photo I.D. containing a photo and a physical description (Current drivers license, military I.D., state I.D.)
- Checks must be first party only.
- Checks must be imprinted with complete address and match the address listed on your valid ID.
If using a PO Box, a residential address and telephone number are required.
We do not accept the following:
- Out-of-state checks
- Counter drafts
- Temporary checks
- Previously signed checks
Please note: It takes approximately 3-4 working days on all mail in ticket and pass orders. Please allow for weekends and holidays. At this time online purchases are not accepted. Requests for orders to be sent via courier (FedEx, UPS) must provide a valid account number and pre-authorization.
Please be advised that when paying cash at our administrative office, due to recent audit recommendations, WestCAT does not accept bills larger than $50 for any one transaction. WestCAT charges a $20.00 fee on all returned checks. WestCAT accepts ATM debit cards for any purchases conducted at our Administrative office in Pinole. To request your location/business as a potential WestCAT sales outlet, call (510) 724-3331 ext. 17.
Local fixed route day passes, 31-Day passes, and stored value passes are valid on WestCAT Lynx buses as local fare credit only. There are currently no changes in the sale of the Dial-A-Ride Senior/Disabled/Medicare Card Holder discount tickets or Regional Paratransit tickets, see Dial-A-Ride page for information.

Additional Information
Employer-Based (Pretax) Sales Program
Employers may sign up with the following programs to allow their employees to purchase WestCAT passes (and other Bay Area transit passes and tickets) on a pretax basis. Interested employees need to contact their employer for more information.
WageWorks
WageWorks is a leading provider of pre-tax commuter benefits with products and services appropriate for employers of any size. Employers call 1-866.602.3887 for more information.
At the present, WestCAT does not accept WageWorks commuter cards.
Commuter Checks
Fill in the information on the back of your Commuter Check before you redeem it. If you buy tickets or passes that cost less than the value of your Commuter Check, the difference cannot be returned as change or merchandise and WestCAT will not issue a credit. If you buy tickets or passes that cost more than the value of your Commuter Check, you can make up the difference with cash, ATM, or a personal check. Each Commuter Check has an expiration date printed on it. You must use your Commuter Check before it expires. Expired Commuter checks cannot be accepted or replaced. Commuter Check Visa cards are not accepted by WestCAT (all debit type payment cards must have a PIN).
