How much to ride? Need Information on the WestCAT Transfer policy? This is the place to be as we give a guide to our Cash Fares, Transfers, Day Passes, 31-Day Passes, Stored Value Passes and more below.

All Fares are for one-way trips. Discount 31-day passes are available.
Children (under 6 years)
Free (Limit is 2 free children under the age of 6 per paying adult).
Fares are subject to change. Please call (510) 724-7993 for the latest information. Exact fare is required, drivers do not carry change.
Reduced Fare Information
To receive a reduced fare, a passenger may be asked to show one of the following:
*Currently, we do not certify, but we do honor the Regional Transit Connection card (RTC). The RTC Discount ID Card is available to qualified persons with disabilities. RTC Card holders are eligible for reduced fares on Fixed-Route Transit Bus, Rail, Ferry systems throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The cost of a New or Renewal RTC Card is $3.00.The cost to replace a card is $5.00. Information on obtaining a RTC Card is at the link below:
As of 1 November 2015, Westcat will accept the Clipper Card.

Local transfers from other WestCAT buses (including Lynx) are FREE with valid transfer at shared stops only. No round trips.
From BART, Vallejo Transit, AC Transit, and Golden Gate Transit at shared stops only:
From WestCAT Local Fixed Routes, Express, and Martinez Link 30Z to WestCAT Lynx to San Francisco:
All Transfers are FREE From County Connection and Tri-Delta Transit at shared stops in Martinez with a valid transfer. WestCAT will not issue another transfer upon receiving a transfer from one of these two agencies in Martinez. WestCAT does not accept the Clipper card in Martinez.
Transfers from Capital Corridor trains to WestCAT are FREE anywhere within WestCAT’s service area with validated transfer (exception Lynx to/from SF, and Dial-A-Ride). Passenger must relinquish transfer to driver upon boarding.
Clipper Card Transfers
Transfers are good for 120 minutes after boarding a bus. If you tag your second bus within the appropriate time frame, you will be granted your transfer. If you tag after that period, Clipper will deduct additional fare from your card.
Clipper automatically grants free or discounted transfers when transferring to another agency that accepts Clipper. If you are transferring to a transit service that does not accept Clipper, you should request a paper transfer.
The East Bay Value Pass
The $60 East Bay Value Pass allows you to ride WestCAT (Cannot be used for travel to/from San Francisco on the Lynx.), The County Connection, Tri Delta Transit and Wheels fixed route buses for an entire month! This pass is now offered on the Clipper Card.
WestCAT is now able to accept commuter benefit cards like those issued by Commuter Check, TranBen, and WageWorks, and others. At this time, we still do not accept credit cards or online or mail orders using these benefit cards, but we now can do these transactions at our office here in Pinole at 601 Walter Avenue. Lynx 10-Ride Passes
Lynx 10-Ride Passes allow ten one-way rides in any direction on WestCAT Lynx buses. Passes do not expire until value is spent.
Allows pass holder unlimited travel in any direction on Local Fixed Route, Martinez Link 30Z, and Express buses only. Passes are valid only if stamped with correct date and are good for use through the last bus on the service day in which first used. May be pre-purchased thru WestCAT or purchased from the driver on the day of travel. Drivers do not carry change so please have exact fare. Passes will be time stamped.
Dial-A-Ride & Paratransit Tickets
Discount Tickets provide 10 one-way rides per sheet. There is no expiration date. Tickets are not sold in any other denomination and cannot be purchased from the driver.
Local Fixed/Express Bus Stored Value Passes
Stored Value Pass allows one-way rides in any direction on all WestCAT Local Fixed Route and Express buses. Passes are non-transferable & expire 1-year from print date.
Local Fixed Route and Express Stored Value Passes with a remaining value equal to less than the full cash fare will still be allowed one last ride at no additional charge (Lynx excluded).
Allows unlimited travel in any direction on Local Fixed Route, Express, and Lynx buses. Passes are good for 31 consecutive days beginning on the first day of use. Passes will be time stamped. Passes are non-transferable and expire 1-year from print date.

It takes approximately 3-4 working days on all mail in orders. Please allow for weekends and holidays. Using a FedEx/UPS account? Please provide account information for billing purposes.

BART Plus Regional Tickets
Sold only at BART ticket and pass outlets and online
Valid on WestCAT local fixed route, Martinez Link 30Z and express routes only at no additional charge. Valid for 2-weeks and includes both BART rail and bus fare. Call (510) 236-BART for information. The “5-day grace period” for BART Plus ticket holders applies only to BART rail, and not bus. (BART Plus is not accepted on the LYNX).

Hercules Transit Center Parking Permits
HTC is a BART owned parking lot. All permit sales
are handled by an outside vendor. Questions? Call 1-800-997-0197 (8:00am - 4:00pm weekdays) or visit www.herculestransitcenter.com for further details.
