Hit and Run injures Bus Driver
A WestCAT bus oeprator went to the hospital in stable condition Monday after a Toyota hit him as he crossed the street, Pinole police said.
Ronald Keels, 49, got out of his bus and started crossing near the corner of Pinole Valley Road and Monte Verde about 3:50 p.m. when the forest-green Toyota Camry struck him and drove off.
The car is a late-1990s model, possibly 2000, police said. The crash probably left the car with front-end damage, particularly on the right side, and cost it the right-side mirror.
Police ask anyone with information about the car or who drove it to call (510) 724-8950.
