There are a variety of ways to look up information about WestCAT trip times and find trip plans when you’re away from your home or office.

Smartphone Browsers

Bay Area 511 currently provides both trip-planning and real-time departure predictions for WestCAT buses through their mobile site. Google Maps also provides a trip-planner.

If you don’t have a smartphone, you can still plan a trip while you’re away from your computer. Text message directions are available through a program called Dadnab. Text the beginning and end addresses of your trip to (415) 335-6221* and receive transit directions by text message. A sample text to the service might look like: 601 Walter Ave Pinole to 2131 Pear St Pinole. Try this sample text on the Dadnab site to see what the response would look like!

Phone Call

If you’re wondering when the next bus is arriving your nearest stop, you can find out just by dialing 5-1-1. This phone service uses voice recognition technology to connect you with transit and traffic information. For a description of the services available by dialing 5-1-1, please see the 511 Phone Service Overview page.
