About the Lynx
This service is a fast, direct, convenient express bus service between Hercules and San Francisco.
The Lynx operates weekday commuter service to the Transbay Temporary Terminal in San Francisco every 15-30 minutes between the hours of 5:00 a.m. - 9:40 a.m., and 3:30 p.m. - 8:33 p.m. In the morning the service starts on Willow Avenue in Rodeo, making a stop at the Victoria by the Bay neighborhood and the Hercules Transit Center before departing to the San Francisco Transbay Temporary Terminal on the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane.
During the afternoon commute, service starts from the San Francisco Transbay Temporary Terminal directly to the Hercules Transit Center (The Lynx stop is located within the Transbay Temporary Terminal towards the South East corner of the facility), continuing to the Victoria by the Bay neighborhood, and ending on Willow Avenue.
On July 1, 2010 midday service was added between Hercules Transit Center and the Transbay Temporary Terminal in San Francisco. Service operates between 9:40 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.
The service began operating on September 19, 2005.
